When you place an order on-line, we will begin processing it immediately. You can expect it to ship within 2-3 business days. Please note that in order to process your order we must have all final instructions and full payment so that the order can be processed and shipped. If we don't have all details and final payment, your order may be delayed.

There are 3 ways to place an order with us! 1. Place an order online. 2. Call our location directly: 703-437-3008. 3. Stop by our shop and place an order directly (see below for address)

If you place your order on-line, we can ship 1 size: 6” (which serves 8 people). If you call our corporate office or come into the shop, our dedicated and professional staff will be happy to help you figure out what size cake you need for your event. The size of your cake is based on how many people you plan to serve. Remember to factor in children versus adult guests. Here is a chart that may help you decide what size cake to order: Round Cake Sizes (Number of Servings) 6”- 8 guests 8"-12 guests 10”- up to 20 guests 12”- up to 32 guests 14”- up to 44 guests 16”- up to 56 guests 18"- up to 68 guests ½ Sheet Cake- 55 guests Full Sheet Cake- 110 guests This serving chart indicates the approximate number of servings. Oh, we love weddings and working with couples is an absolute delight for us! Our talented team spends hours making sure that every detail is perfect, so that your dessert and the finale of your special day will turn your dream into a reality. You may complete the inquiry form right on our website, or feel free to call us directly at 703-437-3008 to set up a wedding cake consultation. Below are general guidelines to familiarize you with the process: There are the ways to taste our cakes and desserts to determine your choices for your special day. Schedule a time to meet with one of the owners and sample three different kinds of cake. We offer 3 cake slices or 3 cupcakes. Any additional slices or cupcakes may be purchased ahead of time or at the store during the tasting. Check out our cake gallery on line.

We love participating in local community events and contributing our cakes and gift products to charitable organizations for their events. We receive more than 20 written or email requests a month for donations. In order to have your event considered, please submit your donation requests in writing at least three months in advance. Here are some of the criteria we use: - Event must be held in Northern Virginia - We must have a donation receipt for our records - Edibles Incredible Desserts must be mentioned in promotional materials and if possible, be given the opportunity to speak with attendees about our business. If our Board decides we will donate to your event, we will be happy to donate a cake that will serve the entire group attending the event. We will create a gorgeous cake that is themed to match your event. We also consider requests for providing gift baskets for raffles/auctions.

While we do offer basic writing on our online cake orders for a nominal charge, we can work with you directly to provide custom creations. Simply complete our on-line inquiry form, and we will be in touch with you right away. We love being creative and have incredibly creative cake designers and decorators working for us, which allows us to create fantastical child and adult-themed cakes, including three-dimensional carved cakes. Check out our cool and funky cake designs for theme parties and groom's cakes in our picture gallery – you will be amazed and astounded! We also create gorgeous, modern, traditional wedding cakes. Our brides love our designs. We can create any cake from any picture you find. Some of our favorite wedding cakes are those designed just for the special occasion. We can create anything that you can think of and our most-requested media for the canvas of the cakes include chocolate ganache, buttercream and/or fondant. We cannot ship fresh flowers on cakes. For local cakes, our cakes are so beautiful; enhancements are rarely requested and are never needed! We also don't recommend them because we know that most fresh flowers contain chemicals that may be unsafe to you and your guests. We recommend against the use of fresh flowers, however we leave the final decision about using fresh flowers up to you and we will assist you in any way possible.

As of May 2009, we launched a line of delectable gluten-free desserts and vegan desserts, including chocolate fudge, several mouthwatering cookies, namely a Triple Chocolate Mint cookie. As far as our other products, we use only premium ingredients to create our cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolates, brownies, confections, and other desserts. This means our desserts not only look beautiful, but they also taste incredibly delicious! Although we try to accommodate all of our customers with special requests and special orders, please be aware that any of our products could contain traces of ingredients used in other products. These ingredients include but are not limited to tree nuts, peanuts, chocolate, and flour (gluten).

Alan makes about 100 pounds of fudge per week and we have fabulous chocolatiers who make Whoo Hoos (incredible peanut butter balls), Robyn's English toffee, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered grapes, and chocolate covered cherries. We estimate that we make about 300 pounds of chocolates a week.

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!!!!!! Our shops sell over 325 varieties of candy confections from homemade to bar candy. And, whether or not you love fudge -- you will LOVE Alan's Fudge! He has worked for years to perfect his all-natural secret recipe fudge (17 different flavors that will please your palate!) and our customers love it! Many of our loyal customers travel from out of state to purchase Alan's homemade fudge. Even customers who have moved away order our fudge throughout the year and have it shipped to them all over the country.

"We specialize in buttercream!" Every week our staff uses over 500 pounds of the freshest, most delicious butter to make most of our baked goods, confections, and other desserts.

We use over 700 pounds of sugar each week to create our amazing desserts.

We need A LOT of chocolate to make our candies, cakes, cupcakes, and brownies each week! Our bakers and decorators use over 450 pounds of various types of chocolate to create the decadent desserts that our customers love!

Wow! Where have all the eggs gone? You would think that we at Edibles Incredible Desserts have our very own egg farm! We use over 5,400 eggs a week in our baked goods and desserts.

Each week we donate up to $1,500 in products to charitable events and organizations throughout our local communities in the form of gift baskets, cakes, and confections. Edibles Incredible gives back with donations to schools, charities, and community organizations. We take great pride in providing amazing products to our customers and combining that with excellent customer service. We have a wonderful staff that will happily deliver our fabulous products throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area to include Northern Virginia, DC, and most areas in Maryland. We also use a courier company for deliveries that are just outside of our local delivery area. Our shipping vendor choice is UPS. Please know that delivery charges may vary based on the season and the time and location of the delivery.

We do have the capability of printing your pictures, corporate logos or other images onto cakes and cookies. Displaying your chosen image on one of our creative cakes is a great way to brand your company. Consider pictures for baby showers, birthdays, engagement parties, welcome to your new home gifts, corporate branding efforts, new product launches, retirement dinners, and charity events. No matter what picture you choose, you can be sure that the cake will be the talk of your event!

Whether our customers live close by or far away, they love to receive and send our yummy treats to friends and family across the nation. We work hard to accommodate all of our customers by shipping our products via USPS, UPS or Fedex based on the best overnight charge. Our dedicated staff works throughout the year to expertly wrap each item carefully, so that it arrives perfectly. Please know that delivery dates may be impacted by extreme weather conditions. In an effort to ensure that your gifts arrive on time, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value. In making substitutions, we take great care and consideration in selecting gifts that will exceed the expectations of both the gift giver and recipient.
